MELROSE LIGHTSPACE PHOTOGRAPHY SHOW / OCTOBER 17TH, 2009

Hunt Auctions with Special Guest, NY Yankees HOF'er Whitey Ford

Hosted by VR Promotions/Jenn Laskey and Hunt Auctions, contents of the personal collection of NY Yankees Hall of Famer, Whitey Ford were previewed along with many other pieces including items of Babe Ruth, Willy Mays, the late Thurman Munson just South of downtown Los Angeles. The Major League Baseball live auction will take place at DHL All-Star Fanfest at the Jacob Javits Center in New York on July 14-15, 2008. The Los Angeles preview was attended by dozens of fans, entertainment talent including Tracy Bingham, and collectors alike.

June 12, 2008 On June 12, 2008 at the Los Angeles Animal Shelter, former "Price Is Right" Show Host, Bob Barker, members of L.A. City Counsel and other celebrities such as "Deal Or No Deal's" Kelly Cleary spoke on new legislation in regards to Spaying and Neutering your pets. Once again, working with Camera Man, Jimmy Alioto and CC Perkinson of CCVarietyTV I attended and shot this years Long Beach Grand Prix and FINAL CART (Champ Car) race ever as it merges back into IRL (Indy Racing League). The weekend was awesome complete with celebrity racing, a concert by the band, "Pennywise" and plenty of high speed auto racing. Jimmy, CC, and I did a special segment with Graham Rahal of Newman/Haas and son of IRL Legend, Bobby Rahal. Also, finishing out the weekend was a surprise media interview with "Japan 300" Winner and first female IRL winner, Danika Patrick who had flown in directly from the Race. More photos to follow!

SPRING MIDWEST PHOTO TOUR
Tentatively scheduled for May 1 - 10, 2008 I will be traveling to OH, IN, KY, MI, and PA to primarily attend the Kentucky Derby on Saturday, May 3rd in Louisville, KY. NASCAR AUTO CLUB 500 February 24, 2008 Once again, I will be shooting in the Pits, on the track, and in the infield at the California Speedway for the 2008 Auto Club 500 staring NASCAR's top Nextel Cup Drivers. The work will be for research on a project for National Geographic/Line Jumper Talents.

Once again, I served on the PGA Northern Trust Open Executive Board as Chairman, Media Relations. This was my 2nd year as Chairman and 6th year with the Tournament. I also spent one year as Vice Chairman of Media. I oversaw all LAJCC Media Volunteers and media operations for the February 11-17, 2008 tournament and assisted the PR firm of Brener, Zwikel and Associates, managing the Internationally represented Media and the PGA Tour. Phil Mickelson won the Tournament at -3. Also, a part of the week included the "Michael Douglas and Friends" Pro-Am which included Michael Douglas, Catherine Zeta-Jones, Martin Sheen, Alice Cooper, Kenny G, Heather Locklear, Haley Joel Osment, Morgan Freeman, Jack Wagoner, and other celebrities.
Christmas 2007
Columbus, OH I took some time off and spent time wtih family in Granville, Ohio for Christmas once again this year. Discussions are in play to work with Justin Moodley, Owner of ColumbusParty.com as well as Layla a professional make up artist and model in Cleveland.

Paul Finally Gets Married!

The beach side wedding was attended by 60 special guests and concluded at a fantastic restaurant reception. Close friend, Tony performed the ceremoney. Jenny (Bach) Smith assisted with Photography as a 2nd Shooter.

Christina Aguilera's Baby Shower

Beverly Hills, CA Hosted by Husband (and Father to be) Jordan Bratman at their new home (the old "Osbourne's Home") in Beverly Hills, I had the amazing pleasure of photographing and documenting Christina's Baby Shower. Over 100 guests including Gwen Stefani and husband, Gavin, attended their backyard baby "carnival." I even had the pleasure of getting to know Shelly (Christina's Mother) who was visiting from Pittsburgh. I think she took an immediate liking to me when I told her I was from Columbus and had cousins who grew up in Pittsburgh. Unfortunately, I can't publicly display the photos as they are private with the family. Stay tuned for a "tear sheet" per publication in the media with (hopefully) one of my images.

Beverly Hills Formerly the Le Meridien Hotel on La Cienega Blvd. in Los Angeles, and next to the Beverly Center, this beautiful luxury hotel will re-open in 2008 as the "SLS at Beverly Hills, which is owned and operated by SBE Entertainment. Eagle Rock, CA A very unique photo shoot and production took place in my studio on Friday, October 26th just in time for Halloween. Alfonso Lopez, Photographer, Artist, Collaborator, and personal friend of mine, photographed a visual story very much inspired by the movie, "Labrynth." Over 30 very talented and creative actors, models, make up artists, hair stylists, prop designers, musicians, set designers, and production people descended upon my studio to produce this very colorful concept. "Free Your Soul" Yoga Retreat

Pacific Palisades, CA On September 30th, I spent the day with Heidi Rayden documenting a motivating day of yoga, nutrition, and meditation in a beautiful cliff side Pacific Palisades Mansion over looking the Pacific Ocean. The home, originally owned by Charles Laughton (Quasimodo - "The Hunchback of Notre Dame - 1938) was an incredibly tranquil and pristine venue for this educational day. EXTREME GREEKS at UCLA
Westwood and Redondo Beach, CA I am now working with a UCLA campus organization called Extreme Greeks as an Event Photographer. My involvement will be with various Greek Organization functions throughout the academic year with both the campus Sororities and Fraternities beginning with "Presents 2007" -- UCLA's Sorority Rush Selection. I was honored to be paired with the Chi Omega Sorority. I have a special admiration for the Chi-O's as I was the Chi-O Sweetheart at the University of Evansville (IN) as a college Senior in 1991-1992.
